hi im 14 nearly 15 and im a competitive swimmer. i used to swim 8 or 9 2hour sessions plus an hour of gym work a week, but since the start of this season everything has gone downhill for me. ive got moved down a squad and now im lucky if i get 5/6 1.5hour sessions in a week. also my gym has recently closed so no more gym. since moving down a squad ive been ill and injured quite a bit and i have found that im getting quite fat, putting on a lot of weight and i look awful especially the stretch marks from putting on so much weight. I've thought about going on a diet, could someone please give me advice, maybe even diet tips? thanks,

Hi, the first thing you have to think about, is that you are eating more when you doing sport. I had the same problem with my weight after i left the special forces. You are still eating the same but not burning the same amount of energy. So trie to eat less, even when you are still hungry. Eat a bit and wait for 15 - 20 minutes if you are still hungry, try to eat some vegetabels. The next thing is, try to take your time while you eating dont eat to fast chew your food about 30 times. And the last thing is, try to do more running or bicycling that will help to get rid of the fat. Hope i could help you. Sorry for my bad english im from germany
