There is no proof of this, but the theory has a solid basis in fact: the reserves of glucose present in the liver and muscles are exhausted within a 12 hour period. This means that if you start exercising after the night, without taking in any food, fat reserves are used as an energy source from the very first minutes.

The best thing to do when ever you are exercising whether you are doing cardiovascular or lifting weights is to eat small amounts of foods with carbohydrates. Because it will give you energy for the exercise. But, if you try to exercise or even lift with an empty stomach then your body is going to use the stored proteins as an energy in order for you to not starve.

it might work but after 8 hours sleeping you will get very tired and you will probably faint... i dont advise you to do that

You are right.. But perhaps forget our special workout, to burn fat in the abdominal area.. try it! 8 Series :evil:

If you want to loose weight (burn fat) it is better to do walking or jogging or any cardio workout with an empty stomach. I dont think the same thing happens with lifting weights. :evil:
