Training Legs: Adductor Exercises

Adductors muscles are muscles that usually disregarded by athletes. But there are some important exercises where adductors take part: squad and deadlifts. And if your adductors are weak, you simply won't achieve high results in all exercises with adductors muscles involved (or you may even get injured). Adductors train very well. Usually they need about a month to come up with other muscles.

The Adductors are a group of muscles that include the Adductor Magnus, Longus and Brevis, the Gracilis and the Pectineus. They originate on the pelvic bone and attach at intervals along the length of the femur. This interval attachment provides the most power and stability for the hip joint and the femur. Also adductors help to prevent knee joint from injury.
